The President With No Pants (first speach)

68

By TheManWithNoPants

Fellow Americans, I stand before you proud that my election to this, the most prestige's office on the planet of the earth, represents the awakening of a giant in this country known as the silent majority.. the people with common sense, tolerance, and high moral values.

You have elected me in spite of my imperfections. You have elected me in spite of my lack of eloquence, political experience, so called intellect, or pants. You elected me because the two parties previously in power refused to put political agendas aside and serve the people of this country in the manner in which our fore fathers prescribed. The Republicratic party began and flourished because the great people of this country finally decided that it was time for America to start handling it's business in the manner that made us the greatest nation in history, a nation that puts it's popularity at a given moment in time .. second to doing what is in the best interest of preserving it's strength and our freedom.

This administration will always strive to keep this nation a beacon of hope for the rest of the world. We will gladly extend a hand to help other nations when ever we can, but never putting their needs in front of our own. We will feed the hungry in other country's, but only after our hungry are being fed. It is possible to do both if our administration does it's job, which I can assure you we will.

I am the President of this land, and the problems I inherited by taking this office are now mine. I take ownership of them and will never hold anyone else accountable but myself for their outcome.

In running for election, I said I would take care of the borders finally and forever. Our borders are in place for a reason. Illegal immigration means not legal .. there for against the law. We are a nation of laws, and that which is not legal will always be a crime and should be treated as such. If we can keep North Korea out of South Korea for all most sixty years, we can handle the problem of securing our own borders. I will do this by any means necessary. Hear me... ANY means necessary.

I will make the difficult decisions that have to be made based not on what I wish could be done, but rather on what must be done. These things aren't always mutually exclusive.

There is a divide in this country in regards to granting amnesty to illegals who have been over hear for a while. I won't waste time debating this issue. What's the right or wrong thing to do here is not the issue, it's what must be done. You can't relocate over ten million people. Moses would faint given the task of an exodus like that! It shouldn't have ever gotten to this point. We allowed this to happen, so we're going to deal with it in the best way possible. First we're going to stop the bleeding. We're going to stop illegal immigration from coming into the country. Then we're going to heal the wound. This administration is already putting together the plan that will document the illegals that are here. If they've been here for over a year, they can pay a fine learn English, and apply for citizenship .. that is if they have NOT engaged in any criminal behavior, while being in our country. Yes, you heard that right ... "speak English! My office has issued a formal apology to my state, the state of Arizona for the previous administration's behavior. I am strongly advising the governor of the state to amend the Arizona law to ask everyone they pull over the question of citizenship, whether they are black, white, blue or brown. I don't care if they have red hair and freckles .. ask them all, and let's put away this silly notion of discrimination. Oddly enough, over there if we get pulled over there, they don't question our citizenship because we're white, they just confiscate all of our ready cash, under the threat of making us sit in a Mexican jail for ten days for going seven miles an hour over the speed limit. I'm still a little sore about that one, but that's nothing to do with the fine citizens of Mexico themselves, let me be clear.

You know where I stand on the will of the people. The will of the people is determined by the majority of the people. This is what a democracy is, and I will honor that majority .. even if it goes against my personal feelings. I'm pretty smart, but I'm not smarter than over half the Americans in this country put together I can assure you.

I told you that if you elected me, I would begin the big job of cleaning up Washington and see it through. That was ill spoken. I can't do that. But you and I together can damn sure get it done! And we will!

During this administration, you will see members of the house and senate resign. I won't tolerate anything other than honesty and fairness. It is possible, contrary to what some believe, to successfully run this country by shooting from the hip and doing the right thing.

Anytime I find a place where politics is being paid for, I will put a swift end to it. Excuse me ... We will put a swift end to it ...

Where are we going to find replacement parts for the one's that are broken? They will come from you the people as always, but you will keep yourself informed on the issues and scrutinize elections beginning on a local level as well as a state and federal level. Let me tell you ... These good old boys up here are all home grown. Let's be careful what we're growing at home!

We've been at war for too long. My beloved grandfather fought in both World War 11 and Korea. When I was a young man the Viet Nam war was going on and had this country in an awful division. I was about thirteen and I asked Pop what he thought about how the war was being fought. It wasn't politically correct, but he said .. "Too much politics, not enough killing." I will not fight a war and try to win a popularity contest at the same time. We will fight in accordance with the Geneva Convention, but we will not let politics or popularity dictate or battle strategy for winning a war. We will not let our humanity slide, nor will we allow our enemy to use our own humanity against us.

I'm going to talk about the other issues facing . The next thing I talk about will be the economy, but I'm going to end this speech today before I put anyone to sleep. Let me close by saying ... that as I mentioned during the election, if you look too far left, or two far right, you hit the tree standing in front of you. That's where the Republicratic party took it's foothold. I didn't play any games. I told you no one will get everything they want. That would be an impossible order to fill. But if I can't give you everything you want, by the grace of God, I'll give you everything you need! THANK YOU!

If you agree with the Prisident With No Pants. giver a thumbs up.  If you disagree, giver a thumbs up ayway  ... I fear rejection.  lol

Outdoors guy is also one of my readers, when he can stomach my politics. Was that really you in the picture? If so, your legs are indeed prettier than mine. LOL. (:v As for our two political parties, better no pants than no brains. I jump back and forth often, because I find it hard to trust either.

But you are not the majority. My side isn't either - we are very evenly split. Sometimes we will swing left, sometimes we will swing right, but we remain royally ticked off at each other, right?

I see a lot of this "silent majority" idea from the right. Most of the silent ones just don't want to get all riled up, so they say nothing when you or I shoot our mouths off, but that doesn't mean they agree with either of us. Most of us on the left know that, most of you on the right don't seem to.

TheManWithNoPants profile image

TheManWithNoPants Hub Author 22 months ago

Hey Pcunix,

That's an interesting take. I've never seen anything poll wise or anything really to substantuate anything about who and where the silent majority are.

Pcunix, (and anyone that's far left or right) I have some conservative views, but don't confuse me with the far right Rush Limbaugh whacks. I am a registered Democrat. I've never been to a tea party, I won't listen to anyone right or left who give absolutely no value to a person or group that opposes them. Everyone has value, and you can learn more from your opponent than you can your friend. Nor will I debate anyone without manners or who start arguing for the sake of arguing instead of debating. Please don't put me in a group that "shoots their mouth off," Pcunix. I don't fit into any group that you would be famaliar with I don't believe.

I'm getting used to it, but I find that when people want to try and shoot down one of my political hubs, they'll isolate one thing and stay away from the central theme. The point of the Hub is in the first paragraph. Both parties are putting their political ambitions in front of serving the people. When the Republicans were in control, they were greedy. Their greed led to their losing the majority. The Democratic party has the majority now, and like the Republicans before them, are drunk with power. The cycle keeps repeating. I welcome your responces, and hope you continue to do so even though, you will continue to put me in a box that I don't fit in. I like you but unfortunatlly, like Rush, you give me no value because I don't believe the same things you do Pcunix.

Pcunix profile image

Pcunix Level 7 Commenter 22 months ago

No, I didn't mean anything negative. You are up front with your opinions and so am I. That's fine. But the silent majority is silent.

TheManWithNoPants profile image

TheManWithNoPants Hub Author 22 months ago

Unlike you and I, they must be shy Pcunix. lol

Pcunix profile image

Pcunix Level 7 Commenter 22 months ago

Yes,they are.

I find conservatives tend to be more outspoken. Liberals, possibly because we are so wishy-washy, don't like to speak up.

I have a very liberal friend. My conservative friends think he is as conservative as they are. They have no idea what he says about their ideas in private.

Possibly that's why so many conservatives think that they have a large majority. They just don't hear dissent except from whackos like me

TheManWithNoPants profile image

TheManWithNoPants Hub Author 22 months ago

Whackos need love too. lol

I truly don't have a box I can call home. I'm not conservative enough for conservatives or liberal enough for liberals. I just borrow what works best for me from both sides and throw the rest away. Maybe I should be " the man with no party." I'm kind of trying to wake up that silent bunch and see who they are. I was kind of hoping that they might find silence a comfort because they are like me and not have a box. Silence isn't an option with me though. Who knows, maybe they're just as divided as anyone else and just shy.

Too bad you haven't a prayer, pants or no pants. Politicians who actually make sense seem to have a real short shelf life out in these parts.

I like what you said about both parties getting so locked into their own ambitions. The average (non-extremist) voter knows this. That's why one party having a majority on the administrative branch and both houses of congress is so rare. 2008 was an anomaly, and most of that because the other party was so useless.

I think people prefer a gridlocked, handcuffed government, with functions split among the parties. I know I do, and I'm conservative. But I know a gridlocked government can't do as much *damage.*

actually Ive found that liberals, at least where Im from are much more outspoken than Conservatives. I know once I saw one get so worked up at a Outback he was asked to leave becuase he was cussing and ranting. and was about to get his butt stomped by an irate parent whose ten year old daughter was hearing every obscene word.

so I guess it depends on where your at.

One crazy ranter isn't the point. It's the ones you never notice that you think are agreeing that I mean.

Though I agree: when liberals blow, they blow hard, Conservatives usually show more restraint. Not always, of course. But usually.

TheManWithNoPants profile image

TheManWithNoPants Hub Author 22 months ago

I'm not sure about that. Maybe they blow hard, but they don't blow constantly. We seem to do a little blowing 24/7. That sucks.

Just go ahead and join my TCOB party Pcunix, you can keep us conservatives from going Rush Limbaugh on the world. You can even wear pants!

You may be right, O Pantsless One. They've tried everything else. Political types talk about experience as if it means something, and you might have to search DC far and wide to find an actual pair of 'nads.

And whatever you do, get me away from the Kool-Aid drinking folks on either side of the ideological fence. They're easy to spot. They've got the notched ears & the branding marks on their woolly butts. Just get me away from them. Give me folks with brains and, as we mentioned, 'nads. Pants optional.

Sadly the "silent" majority are only silent because they've just given up- relinquished faith in our system. What good does it do to debate. This is the way I feel somtimes, but I'm fighter like you man with no pants- lovely (is that better than pretty?) legs!!

I don't swing- I linger in the middle just as you were saying, borrowing from each side and sticking with the issues. Yeah I agree with outdoorguy about liberals being outspoken. I live near Portand, Oregon liberal capital and tmore of a rule than an exception, they speak without thinking a lot. Just my personl generalization though.

Yeah Moses would faint (lol) with 10 million people.

Storytellersrus profile image

The comments are interesting because one thought that kept popping up in my mind was, Okay, you say these things now, as you "run for Office". But what is the reality of you getting enough support to push your agenda through Congress with all its lobbyists and pandering puffins? The world of politics is complex and beyond comprehension- or it appears to be so as I watch Congressmen operate on the Washington DC channel.

I was always verbal about my politics among friends until things got out of hand. Since Bush lost, things are out of hand. I find that when I express any liberal value, I am immediately shot down by a conservative claiming to be more righteous or American than I. The above claim that liberals are wishy-washy is so typical!

I am Independent as well. And joining the Silent Majority as a protective measure because I live in a County of Conservatives who are Close Minded and Confident they are God's Chosen People!

The Silent Majority isn't, I don't believe, apathetic. I agree with izetti that the silent majority has lost the faith. I think the Silent Majority, or those I know, are involved in making change an arm's length away. This is where we can all make a difference.

Love your mind, Pants or No Pants!

TheManWithNoPants profile image

TheManWithNoPants Hub Author 22 months ago

You know there is so much truth to all that you said, but first, look closely at what I said and didn't say about the silent majority. I didn't put them in a right or left position. I'm too smart for that. I identified them by some charactoristics I believe them to have. Common sense, high moral values, and tolerance. I don't think any party has exclusitivity to people with these values. My liberal friends have to get this notion out of their heads that I'm your typical conservative. More important than that, is to understand that I recognize value in everyone. Remember my party is called the Republicratic Party.

I develope my opinions through never ending research and listening to people. I think that's why I've been shown respect by most people on the Hub. I write and will continue to write material to stimulate thought.

Next, If you and I, liberal and conservative, can forget about our politicans and their rhetoric, go into a room, lock the door, sit down and have an open minded discussion, we're already smarter than the leaders of both parties. Will you agree with that? Assuming your answer is yes, we're going to put aside for the moment, the tender issues .. don't ask, don't tell, same sex marriage, abortion, and stuff like that. We'll come back to that after we discuss some of the more grave issues facing our country like the economy, national security, immigration, the Gulf Oil Can. We're not going to see eye to eye on everything, but if we go into that room with the idea that we are a team, have mutual respect, and awesome charge of coming up with answers together, Storyteller, we become Republicrats. We're no longer left or right. We don't have ambitions that aren't nobel to our job of leading our nation.

Hope comes to a nation when they see this in action. Hope is so low because all the children see is Mom and Dad fighting and both refusing to give an inch. A divorce looks inevitable.

Then we need a leader with nards, Storyteller. That will overcome experience. Now this man of nards (or woman of tenasity) has another thing going for him or her. For the first time he or she will be able to assemble a real team of the best of the best from both parties. Leadership is key. We need a Boss. A compassionate boss that listens to the people, adds up all the numbers, makes confident decisions, and accepts responsibility.

You just got a future hub out me with your comments, so you'll probably see something like this coming up.

ps I didn't go back and check spelling, and I'm illiterate witout spell check. Hopefully when I'm president someone will take care of that for me. lol

izettl profile image

izettl Level 6 Commenter 22 months ago

storytellersrus~ Your first paragraph about the reality of getting your agenda pushed through is true. You either have to lie to us - Americans or appease the lobbyists, etc. Maybe the politicians just make it seem more difficult than it is. Is it politics that makes them fools or is it fools who go into politics. Yes, I also hate being labeled one way when i have thoughts on both sides of the fence.

Enjoyed both the hub and the comments and your legs! :) But seriously, good job, and you handled PCunix very well.

I visited with a very old man just yesterday and our talk led to politics and he told me that his son, who lives in New Jersey, has told him that his policy now is to always cast his vote in opposition to whomever is the incumbent, regardless of political party.

Both parties get drunk on their power, current checks and balances are dysfunctional as long as bribery and threats can be counted upon to swing a vote. If there were term limits, no more career Congressmen, that would change a lot of things I'd imagine.

TheManWithNoPants profile image

TheManWithNoPants Hub Author 22 months ago

Thank you for stoping by KFlippin. I had an idea one time on how to get thing s straightened out. You go select 600 farmers from around the country and put them in Washington, and take the six hundred fat asses in Washington, and put their lazy asses to work on the farms for six months. Farmers have common sense, morals, and know how to make decisions on their feet. They'd turn things around, and those fat creeps from Washington would learn what hard work really is.

Yo Brother No Pants! Good luck with "We will fight in accordance with the Geneva Convention". I think it's admirable to seek no war and then have some rules concerning it, but war is really, "no holds barred". The Willie Peter round was illegal that we used in Vietnam

as well as the "beehive rounds". Gassing goes back to "I don't know".

Our country is English but we will need to become bi-lingual. This is imperative. Hispanics will outnumber Americans in a couple decades and non-Spanish-speaking "Americans" will be less able to get jobs. The birthrate alone will insure what I'm saying.Americans should be encouraged to speak other languages. We are on a global "business stage". Americans will only limit their opportunities with one language.

CPR and other useful life saving courses should be taught in high-school.

Great message though. My folks also go back to WW1 and my grand-nephew is a Marine in Afghanistan. God bless!

Boy, this is another old one! I've refined my focus and ideas a lot since this! Answering your question though .. Like I said in a recent Blog, I'd do much the same as I do here marketing The Man With No Pants. Get it all out up front and manage it then. If I acan't manage it in front of me, I stand NO chance of handling it behind me. These politicians are not as smart as we figure them to be. I'd go a step further and hire some one who's a real pro to investigate me in order to make sure I didn't forget something. I'm serious about this.

If I attempt to seriously step it up to the highest level, it'll happen in 2016. I've got too much to learn right now for sure.

Still, if Gingrich is any example, you can always become really mortified about your past and appeal to the religious right with a reform story.
